Agreement to Terms
By installing or using EZ Ad Blocker ("the extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the extension.
Description of Service
EZ Ad Blocker is a Google Chrome browser extension designed to skip ad breaks on Hulu.com's desktop web player. The extension works by intercepting and modifying DASH manifests and playlist JSON responses to remove ad segment metadata before the video player processes them.
Scope of Use
The extension is designed to work with:
- Hulu.com on-demand content
- Google Chrome browser on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)
The extension does not support mobile apps, smart TVs, streaming devices, live TV content, or browsers other than Google Chrome.
No Warranty
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the extension will work at all times or with all Hulu content. Hulu may change their ad delivery methods at any time, which could affect the extension's functionality.
User Responsibility
By using EZ Ad Blocker, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Using ad-blocking software may violate Hulu's Terms of Service.
- You are solely responsible for any consequences of using the extension, including potential impacts on your Hulu account.
- We are not responsible for any actions Hulu may take against your account.
- You will not use the extension for any illegal purposes or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms.
Intellectual Property
EZ Ad Blocker and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the extension.
Third-Party Trademarks
Hulu is a trademark of Hulu, LLC. Google Chrome is a trademark of Google LLC. EZ Ad Blocker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hulu, LLC or Google LLC. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.
Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the extension at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the extension if you violate these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
